McGill taps former Aspen exec to lead new Bermuda unit

Specialty brokerage McGill and Partners said Monday that it has named former Aspen Bermuda Ltd. executive Kate Vacher as CEO of its new McGill and Partners Bermuda unit.

Based in Bermuda, Ms. Vacher will report to Angus Milgate, head of international treaty reinsurance at McGill and Partners. She left her role as CEO and group director of underwriting at Aspen Bermuda Ltd., part of Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd., in 2019 to pursue personal interests

Bermuda was the clear next step for McGill’s expansion, Steve McGill, CEO of McGill and Partners, said in a statement.
