MGA Kova names Sarah Morrison Senior Underwriter

Kova Professions, the specialist MGA focused on Professional Indemnity (PI), has announced the appointment of Sarah Morrison as Senior Underwriter.

With two decades of industry experience, Morrison’s deep expertise in the PI sector will further enhance Kova’s underwriting strategy and risk management processes, the firm stated.

Led by CEO Kate Albert, Kova provides tailored PI insurance solutions for mid-market small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across various sectors in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Albert stated: “Sarah is a proven force in the Lloyd’s and London insurance market with almost 15 years of experience. She shares the Kova ethos of prioritising the delivery of exceptional service to brokers and will be a transformative addition to our already strong team. Her appointment will allow Kova to continue to expand its network and further build our position in the professional indemnity market.”

Morrison joins Kova from RSA Group, where she had been a Senior PI Underwriter since October 2021.

Prior to this, she served as a Product Owner & SME Lead at Placing Platform Limited and following her tenure at QIC Global Insurance Company as a Delegated Underwriting Technician.

Morrison has also held roles at Brit Insurance, where she served as a PI underwriter and Aspen Insurance, where she was an underwriter for over three years.
