MGAA plans to enhance advocacy and support for MGA sector in 2025

The Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) has announced its strategic vision and mission for 2025, aiming to strengthen its role as an advocate for the MGA sector while enhancing knowledge-sharing, networking, education, and data-driven insights.

With more than 430 members, the MGAA’s full members collectively represent over £15.1 billion in underwriting capacity, supported by 64 market practitioners and 142 supplier members.

In 2025, 1,580 users completed the MGA Assess learning system, a web-based tool designed to support training and compliance needs.

As the MGA market continues to grow, the MGAA is set to amplify the value its members bring to the insurance industry, making 2025 a milestone year in its development.

The MGAA’s refreshed mission reinforces its role as an accessible, action-oriented, and collaborative resource for its members. It focuses on strengthening networking and education, high-level advocacy, and delivering data-driven insights.

The MGAA Next Gen Committee reflects this commitment to talent development, representing young professionals, promoting training, education, and topical discussions, and creating networking opportunities. It also contributes to MGAA initiatives and market projects that drive meaningful change in the insurance sector.
