Miller continues to bolster Fine Art & Specie team with Thorpe appointment

Independent specialist re/insurance broker, Miller, has expanded its newly created Fine Art and Specie offering by building out a team of sector specialists under the leadership of Annabel Fell-Clark, Head of Fine Art and Specie.
The company has confirmed that Lance Thorpe has joined the division, taking on the role of Specie Account Executive, bringing over 15 years of experience across the sector.
Thorpe most recently served as an underwriter at Everest. Additionally, he has also held both underwriting and broking roles during his career, including stints at WTW and Parker Norfolk & Partners.
Miller explained that Thorpe’s dedicated knowledge of specie will help to deepen the team’s range of experiences and product expertise, across both retail and wholesale.
He joins the newly created team that consists of Annabel Fell-Clark, Head of Fine Art and Specie, Giovanni Sard, Account Executive, and Hilary Copp, Account Executive.
Overall, Fell-Clark has over three decades of industry expertise, having previously worked as an underwriter at both Hiscox and Ascot.
She also previously served as the chief executive officer (CEO) of AXA’s UK Art division.
Sard joined Miller from Lonmart Insurance, where he previously focused on large global programmes and bespoke insurance solutions.
Further, Copp also brings over 10 years of experience from working within the US market, holding both underwriting and broking roles in London and New York.
