Miller expands Accident & Health team with the addition of Alessia Lombardi

Miller, the independent specialist in (re)insurance broking, has appointed Alessia Lombardi as an Account Executive within its Accident & Health team.
Lombardi will begin her role in September 2024, reporting directly to Tim Nagle, Head of Sports & Entertainment at Miller.
With over 20 years of experience in the Lloyd’s and international markets, Lombardi brings extensive knowledge in handling complex placements across Accident & Health products.
She also has significant expertise working with both intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations.
Lombardi commented: “I’m very pleased to be back in the market and thrilled to be joining such a dynamic and successful team.
“Miller has established itself as a leading player in the Accident & Health arena, and I look forward to working with Tim and the team to develop its proposition further still.”
Before joining Miller, Lombardi was an Executive Director at Special Contingency Risks, where she led the Accident & Health team.
Prior to that, she spent more than a decade at WTW, most recently serving as Divisional Director, focusing on broking Southern European Accident & Health business into the London market.
This appointment reinforces Miller’s commitment to expanding its Accident & Health team, which is recognised as one of the market leaders. Since the beginning of 2022, Miller’s wider Sports & Entertainment team has grown its headcount by over 30%.
