MMA buys Pennsylvania-based agency

Marsh McLennan Agency, the small and mid-sized brokerage unit of Marsh LLC, said Wednesday it has acquired Arthur Hall Insurance, a West Chester, Pennsylvania-based insurance agency.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1966, Arthur Hall offers commercial and personal lines coverage, with specialties in life sciences, information management, nonprofit organizations, craft beverage manufacturing, and municipal industries.

President Jim Denham and all 42 employees will join MMA and continue to operate out of Arthur Hall’s offices in West Chester and Wilmington, Delaware, Marsh said.
