MMA makes leadership appointments

Marsh McLennan Agency, the small and mid-sized brokerage unit of Marsh LLC, on Monday named Read Davis, former CEO of McGriff Insurance Services, as vice chairman of MMA.
Mr. Davis, based in Atlanta, will work closely with MMA’s national leadership team and provide strategic counsel. He will report to David Eslick, chairman and CEO of MMA.
Doug Hodo, former president of McGriff, was named vice chairman of MMA’s Southwest region and chairman of McGriff.
As vice chairman of the Southwest region, Mr. Hodo will work with regional leadership across 34 offices in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. As chairman of McGriff, he will oversee a team of specialists managing McGriff’s larger, complex accounts.
Mr. Hodo, based in Houston, will report to Matt Stadler, president of MMA.
Mr. Davis and Mr. Hodo joined the business when Marsh McLennan Cos. Inc. acquired McGriff late last year.
