MMC names US and Canada commercial officer

Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. on Friday named Susan Potter as U.S. and Canada commercial officer, effective immediately.

Based in Washington, she will report to Pat Tomlinson, Marsh McLennan U.S. and Canada CEO and president of Mercer LLC.

Ms. Potter will be responsible for driving client-centric initiatives across Marsh McLennan in the newly created role.

She previously was chief commercial officer for U.S. and Canada at Mercer, Marsh McLennan’s consulting business. Prior to joining Mercer in 2019, she was region head, U.S. East, at WTW.
