Mosaic hires Axis exec David Drogin as head of US cyber

Mosaic Insurance Holdings Ltd. said Monday it has appointed former Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. executive David Drogin senior vice president, head of U.S. cyber.

Mr. Drogin will be responsible for leading operational and growth strategy for Mosaic’s U.S. cyber portfolio and its team of 23 underwriters in New York, Chicago, London, Toronto, Germany, Dubai and Bermuda, a Mosaic statement said.

He will be based in New York and report to Global Head of Cyber Yosha DeLong.

Mr. Drogin was most recently U.S. Northeast regional manager at Axis, the statement said.

Mosaic launched its primary cyber product in May this year, offering $25 million in capacity, the statement said.
