Mosaic hires former Alleghany exec as finance chief

Mosaic Insurance Holdings Ltd. said Monday it has hired Reeva Bakhshi, former deputy chief financial officer of Alleghany Corp., as CFO.

She succeeds Aizaz Haque, who was named capital solutions officer of the Bermuda-based insurer. Mr. Haque had been CFO of Mosaic since it launched in 2021.

Prior to joining Alleghany in 2021, New York-based Ms. Bakhshi held senior finance roles at Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. and Hiscox Ltd.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. bought Alleghany last year.
