MS Amlin hires from Ryan Specialty

MS Amlin Underwriting Ltd. on Monday said it has hired Peter McKenna, former chief executive officer of Ryan Specialty Group LLC’s European operation, as president of its U.S. distribution business.

Mr. McKenna will report to Johan Slabbert, CEO of MS Amlin Distribution Holdings Ltd., with immediate effect.

Prior to his role at RSG Europe, Mr. McKenna served in various senior roles at American International Group Inc.

His experience leading cross-border business development and expansion is a natural fit as MS Amlin looks to explore further acquisitions and investment opportunities in the U.S. market, the U.K.-based insurer said.
