MSIG names former Guy Carpenter executive as cyber chief

MSIG USA named Siobhan O’Brien as head of cyber insurance at the Warren, New Jersey-based unit of Japanese insurer Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd.

London-based Ms. O’Brien was previously a managing director at Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC., where she led the reinsurance brokerage’s cyber center of excellence.

Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, she held various roles at its affiliate Marsh Ltd., including U.K. cyber placement leader.
