MSIG names region distribution leader

MSIG USA, a unit of Japanese insurer Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd., on Monday named former Chubb Ltd. leader David Petrone as Northeast region distribution leader.

In the newly created role he reports to Joe Fitzpatrick, head of distribution.

Mr. Petrone, based in New York, previously was major accounts New York zone leader at Chubb. Before that he was a managing director and senior client executive at Marsh LLC.
