MSIG USA hires former telecom risk manager

MSIG USA, a unit of Japanese insurer Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd., on Monday named Laura Meade as Central region distribution leader.

Ms. Meade previously was director of risk management at Chicago-based Telephone and Data Systems Inc. Before that she was a casualty broker at Marsh LLC.

She will report to Joseph Fitzpatrick, head of distribution for MSIG USA.
