MSIG USA names Jayson Taylor head of casualty

Specialty insurer MSIG USA announced Monday that it appointed Jayson Taylor head of casualty.

Mr. Taylor will replace Tracey Estes, who is to become chief underwriting officer at ICW Specialty, a new unit launched June 20 by ICW Insurance Cos.

Mr. Taylor joined MSIG USA last year as head of product innovation.

Before joining MSIG USA, he was head of excess casualty at Argo Group. He also has worked for QBE North America and Employers Workers Compensation Insurance.

Mr. Taylor is based in New York and will report to Peter McKenna, CEO of MSIG USA.
