Munich Re Specialty names Marks COO

Munich Re Specialty Insurance Thursday named Jeff Marks as chief operating officer of the Munich Reinsurance Co. unit.

Mr. Marks had served in the role on an interim basis since Adam Edelstein left the Princeton, New Jersey-based insurer to join Berkshire Hathaway Guard Insurance as president last fall.

Mr. Marks joined Munich Re Specialty as head of service delivery in 2019. Previously, he held operations positions at various companies including Hiscox Ltd., Vonage Holdings Corp. and IBM.

He will report to Sabrina Hart, president and CEO of Munich Re Specialty.
