Munich Re Specialty North America promotes Claudia Carnevale to Head of NA Programs

Munich Re Specialty – North America, part of the insurance operations of global reinsurer Munich Re, has announced the promotion of Claudia Carnevale to Head of North America Programs.

In this role, Carnevale will oversee the company’s North America Programs, including dedicated teams serving the U.S. and Canadian markets, as well as insurtechs—three strategic areas driving growth across the portfolio.

She brings over 25 years of re/insurance industry experience to the position. Carnevale joins Munich Re Specialty from Homesite Underwriting Managers, LLC, where she served as SVP & Chief Risk Officer, overseeing the Program Department’s underwriting, compliance, and operations functions.

Previously, she spent more than seven years at Allied World, most recently as SVP – Head of Programs.

Earlier in her career, she held various roles at Starr Insurance Companies, Partner Reinsurance Company, QBE, and Generali U.S. Branch.
