New insurance solution from Ryan Transactional Risk targets environmental remediation costs

Ryan Transactional Risk, a managing general underwriter and part of Ryan Specialty, has announced the launch of a new insurance product focused on environmental liability.
The new offering, Ryan Transactional Risk Enviro, is designed to insure against cost overruns related to environmental cleanups and remediation efforts.
RTR Enviro offers Environmental Remediation Cost Overrun insurance for a range of scenarios, including corporate transactions, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate development.
The product is structured to help clients manage and control the financial exposure tied to known environmental conditions.
This coverage is delivered through RTR’s remediation excess policy form, combined with a clearly defined scope of work agreement—ensuring clients receive precise, reliable protection against unexpected cleanup costs.
As a division of RTR, RTR Enviro works with both regional and national brokers across the US. The initiative is led by an underwriting team comprised of Cole Russo, Roland Costanzo, and Al Nesheiwat.
