New York insurance fund offers credit for PPE purchases

The New York State Insurance Fund has created a program to allow its workers compensation policyholders to earn a 5% credit on their annual premium for the purchase of COVID-19 personal protective equipment, the insurer announced in a statement Tuesday.
Under the PPE Premium Credit Program, policyholders can qualify for a credit with a maximum reimbursement of $500 for the purchase of masks, goggles, gloves, gowns, hand sanitizer and other COVID-19 safety-related items.
