Newfront hires cyber brokers from Hub

Newfront Insurance said Tuesday it has hired a team of cyber insurance specialists from rival Hub International Ltd., including Jennifer Wilson, who will be head of cyber for the San Francisco-based brokerage.

Newburyport, Massachusetts-based Ms. Wilson was previously a senior vice president and regional cyber practice leader for Hub. She will report to Deirdre Finn, head of executive risk.

Other former Hub cyber brokers also joining Newfront are Los Angeles-based Jennifer Kelly, Hartford, Connecticut-based Michele Lepper and Boston-based Ellie Hughes.

Newfront, which is the 40th–largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking, has recently hired several senior brokers from larger rivals, including Marsh.
