NFP buys Canadian brokerage

NFP Corp. said Thursday it has acquired Ottawa, Ontario-based brokerage Rhodes & Williams Ltd.

Terms were not disclosed.

Rhodes & Williams, which places commercial and personal lines coverage, has about 70 staff and an additional office in Toronto, according to its website.

All the Rhodes & Williams staff will join the New York-based brokerage, an NFP statement said.
