NFP hires former Alliant exec for U.S. complex risk post

NFP Corp. said Thursday it has hired former Alliant Insurance Services Inc. executive John Barrett as senior vice president, U.S. complex risk, in its risk management and complex risk practice.
Mr. Barrett, based in New York, will serve as a senior technical resource for large and complex property risks and the design of national and multinational placements across various industries including sports and entertainment, heavy manufacturing and chemical/petrochemical.
He will report to Sean Hickey, senior vice president, risk management and complex risk.
Mr. Barrett was previously first vice president at Alliant and brings more than 30 years of industry experience helping businesses identify and mitigate complex risks.
