NFP hires former Markel exec as head of national broking in Canada

NFP Corp. said Thursday that former Markel Corp. executive Emily Horsman has been appointed head of national broking in Canada.

In the newly created role, Ms. Horsman, based in Toronto, will report to Mark Wiens, head of commercial insurance for NFP in Canada.

Ms. Horsman was previously vice president, alternative distribution, at Markel Canada and prior to that vice president, broker, at Willis Towers Watson PLC.
