Novatae Risk names John Catrabone as Vice President of Carrier Relations

Novatae Risk Group, a wholesale insurance brokerage, managing general agency, and program manager, has appointed John Catrabone as Vice President of Carrier Relations, based out of Ohio, US.

In this role, Catrabone will manage and grow carrier relationships along with procuring new strategic alliances and partnerships to enhance Novatae’s overall product solutions suite.

Catrabone has over 30 years of experience in different insurance industry sectors including U.S. surplus lines carrier, global carrier, global broker, retail agency executive, Big-4 risk consulting, and global retail agency management.

He has deep expertise in complex global risks and solutions having worked with Fortune 500 clients on the broker and carrier side.

Before joining World, Catrabone was the Chief Distribution officer at Universal Fire & Casualty Insurance Company in Ohio responsible for all MGA and wholesaler activity.

Throughout his career, he held leadership roles at Tokio Marine America, Risk Match, Assurex Global, Zurich, Gallagher, HILB and Deloitte.
