Oakbridge buys agency focused on ag, crop risk

Oakbridge Insurance Agency said Thursday it has acquired Alliance Ag Risk Management, a Starkville, Mississippi-based agency that specializes in agricultural and crop risk management services.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Alliance Ag is led by CEO Cam Smith, Agency Partner Brian Montgomery and Chief Financial Officer Blake Barksdale.
Oakbridge is the 50th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
