Obenauer named next CEO of TIH

TIH Insurance Holdings LLC said Wednesday that President Dave Obenauer will become CEO, effective Jan. 1, succeeding John Howard, who will transition to vice chair.

Mr. Obenauer joined TIH in 2007, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based broker said in a statement. He is based in Charlotte.

TIH has no announcement regarding succession plans for the role of president, according to an email from a company spokesman.

As vice chair, Mr. Howard will remain on the TIH board of managers and an investor in the company, according to the statement.
