The board of the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation approved a 10% workers compensation rate cut for public employers, the bureau announced in a statement Friday.
According to the BWC, public employers in the state — which includes 3,700 counties, cities, public schools and public taxing districts — will pay $14.8 million less in premiums in 2021, which is the 12th reduction for public employers since 2009.
