Omaha National raises $45M in Series B funding

Omaha National Group Inc., a provider of workers compensation insurance and payroll services, announced Tuesday it raised $45 million in Series B funding, led by venture capital firm Accomplice Management LLC.

The company says this round of funding, which follows an earlier $40 million commitment from Chicago-based investment firm Agman, will be used to support its transition to operating a direct insurance writer and to continue the expansion of its advanced proprietary software.

Investors HighSage Ventures LLC and Tull Investments joined Accomplice in the $45 million Series B round.
