Oneglobal adopts digital trading platform Whitespace in UK office

Oneglobal, the independent Lloyd’s broker backed by JC Flowers, has over 90% of its UK teams now placing business through the Whitespace platform, the fully digital e-trading platform.

Whitespace is owned by Verisk, an important technology partner of Oneglobal and sits at the core of its placing strategy. This digital approach, according to the broker, is to put its customers at the heart of everything it does. Being technologically savvy enables a faster and more efficient service to both clients and underwriters alike.

The broker is an active supporter of the London market modernisation programme, Blueprint Two. It sees the programme as critical to the development of the London market, and digital trading is a fundamental part of that transformation.

With its international network of offices across the globe, Oneglobal has a global strategy around digital adoption and sees potential for further expansion of digital trading beyond the UK. Its Singapore team is already using the platform on a trial basis and hoping to encourage other markets in the region to join too.
