Optio Group expands leadership with appointment of Joanna Eilts as Head of Legal

Specialty MGA Optio Group has appointed Joanna Eilts as Head of Legal, a newly established London-based role in which she will report to CFO Mark Mugge, effective immediately.

This appointment adds to Optio’s leadership team as it continues expanding internationally through strategic acquisitions.

Eilts brings extensive experience across corporate and commercial matters, particularly in advising private equity-backed companies, financial investors, and corporate clients on complex domestic and international M&A transactions.

She joins Optio from Goodwin Procter, where she worked as a senior private equity lawyer, and has also held roles at Clifford Chance in both London and Warsaw.

Her expertise will play a key role in advancing Optio’s acquisition-driven growth strategy across Europe.
