Pain joins AXA UK & Ireland as Chief Communications, Customer, Brand and Sustainability Officer

AXA UK & Ireland has consolidated its external communications, internal communications, customer, and brand functions, along with its sustainability agenda, into a new leadership role: Chief Communications, Customer, Brand and Sustainability Officer.
This position will be filled by Sally Pain, who will also become a member of AXA UK & Ireland’s Management Committee, and will be reporting to Tara Foley, CEO at AXA UK & Ireland CEO
Foley commented: “I’m looking forward to working with Sally on further enhancing the impact and consistency of communications, brand and customer messaging as well as developing a greater focus on our sustainability agenda.

A seasoned communications professional, Pain has extensive experience across the health, insurance and fast-moving consumer goods sectors, with over two decades of experience working at both group and divisional levels in senior roles.
She has led public relations, corporate communications, public affairs and internal communications functions and more recently oversaw brand, customer and sustainability activity at Bupa.
