Paragon appoints Sudagar as Chief Actuary

Paragon Insurance Holdings, an international managing general agency, has announced the appointment of Maheswaran Sudagar as Chief Actuary.
In his new role, Sudagar, a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) with over two decades of experience, will lead Paragon’s actuarial functions, working with the underwriting, finance, product and analytics teams to improve the company’s competitive advantage.
As part of his responsibilities, the executive will also guide the broader actuarial team to provide strategic insights to promote innovation.

Throughout his career, Sudagar’s has gained experience with leading insurers and reinsurers across North America, Europe, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Lead Actuary at Crum & Forster.
