PartnerRe appoints Piergiorgio D’Ignazio as Global Product Leader, Credit & Political Risk

Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe has announced the appointment of Piergiorgio D’Ignazio as Global Product Leader, Credit and Political Risk.
D’Ignazio joins PartnerRe after nearly eight years at Zurich Insurance, where he most recently served as Credit Lines Chief Underwriting Officer.
Prior to that, he spent 12 years at SACE, holding senior positions, including Chief Risk Officer.
Jeff Ryan, Head of Financial Risks at PartnerRe, said, “PartnerRe is very pleased that Piergiorgio has joined our team.
“His experience and deep knowledge of credit and surety will be an asset to us and our clients.”
D’Ignazio commented on his new position, “This new role is a fantastic opportunity to dive deeper into the world of reinsurance and collaborate with a talented team to drive innovation and growth.”
