Paul Plunkett to lead Acrisure’s New England Region

Global Fintech company Acrisure has announced the formation of its New England Region, to be led by Paul Plunkett as Managing Partner.

The new region will encompass its businesses in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Acrisure’s New England presence includes 27 office locations, with nearly 400 employees serving over 57,000 customers. It also operates a key office in Boston’s Back Bay, which houses the teams working in Innovation, Marketing and Cyber Services.

The company has been working on unifying the business under the Acrisure brand, with the New England market being one of the final steps in the branding journey, Greg Williams, Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of Acrisure, noted.

Paul Plunkett brings four decades of industry experience in commercial and personal insurance solutions to his role as Managing Partner of the New England Region.

He and his team are equipped to connect clients to multiple product lines across insurance, cybersecurity, payroll services, mortgage origination and much more.

New England is currently experiencing its lowest unemployment rate since 2000, falling below 3% in October 2023, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

This is being driven in part by a surge in “nonfarming” sector growth such as education and health services. This, along with other micro and macroeconomic factors, makes the region a dynamic environment.

Plunkett added: “With my extensive experience living and working in New England, I have a deep understanding of the unique dynamics and opportunities in the region. I am excited to get the ball rolling under the Acrisure brand to best support the broad needs of our clients.”
