Plexus names Fawcett president

The Plexus Groupe LLC on Tuesday named Gerald Fawcett as president.

Mr. Fawcett will oversee the Deer Park, Illinois-based brokerage’s property & casualty, small commercial and private-client practices and global relationships. He joined Plexus in 2020.

Jamie Lebar was promoted to senior vice president, national property & casualty practice leader, succeeding Mr. Fawcett. Ms. Lebar, previously a senior client executive, will join the senior leadership team.

Matthew Stohner, formerly with Marsh McLennan Agency, the small and midsized brokerage unit of Marsh LLC, was hired as senior vice president, private client solutions. Mr. Stohner previously was a senior vice president at MMA.

Brian Morgan, who previously held the role of president of Plexus, left the company in 2023.

Plexus is the 92nd-largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
