Pool Re selects Clearwater Analytics to modernise investment operations

Great Britain’s government-backed terrorism reinsurer, Pool Re, has chosen Clearwater Analytics, a provider of SaaS-based investment management, accounting, reporting, and analytics solutions, to modernise its investment operations, accounting, and risk management infrastructure.

After a 2024 tender process, Pool Re, which oversees more than £7.2 billion in assets, has adopted Clearwater’s platform as its Investment Accounting Book of Record.

The state-backed terrorism reinsurer has since expanded its use to include advanced risk analytics, such as scenario and shock analysis, to support the management of investment risk exposure.

This streamlines Pool Re’s investment management operations to include sophisticated risk assessment through scenario and shock analysis, data-driven strategic decision making, which is powered by validated, accurate information.

Additionally, the process now includes automated reporting and compliance monitoring, and integrated performance measurement.
