Price Forbes Re adds Brian Cole as Executive Vice President, Head of Financial Lines

Price Forbes Re, an independent specialist risk strategy and reinsurance broker, has appointed Brian Cole as Executive Vice President (EVP), Head of Financial Lines, based in Boston.

The appointment aligns with the firm’s efforts to build its offering in the US, as Cole will lead the development of the firm’s financial lines practice.

In his new role, he will be working closely with North America Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Rastiello, who joined the firm in February.

Cole brings over three decades of industry experience and has previously served as EVP of Gallagher Re (formerly Willis Re), Head of Casualty at Lockton Re, and Head of D&O at Guy Carpenter.

Cole commented: “I’ve spent most of my career at the big reinsurance brokerage houses and was ready for a new approach.
