Price Forbes Singapore appoints Davies Director of new specialism Power, Downstream, and Renewables

Price Forbes Singapore has launched a new specialism, Power, Downstream and Renewables, to be led by Alex Davies as Director.
Davies brings a wealth of experience with over 22 years in the engineering and insurance industries. His expertise covers construction, operations, and the development and financing of projects in the power, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
He specialises in advising on contractual risk allocation, structuring insurance packages that align with contractual and lender requirements, and driving innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
Prior to his current role, Davies held senior positions at Aon in Asia, where he served as Director of Natural Resources. Before transitioning to insurance, he held engineering positions in Europe with companies like RWE, Carillon, and Mowlem Engineering.
In his new role as Director of Power, Downstream, and Renewables, Davies will be reporting directly to Philip Johnson, CEO of Asia Pacific, who commented: “Alex’s extensive experience and in-depth technical industry knowledge will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our foothold in Asia’s rapidly evolving energy sector.
