QBE launching inland marine unit, hires three from AIG

QBE International Markets said Tuesday it will launch a U.S. inland marine offering by 2025 across all 50 states and has hired three inland marine experts from American International Group Inc.

Sharon Primerano, based in New York, was appointed vice president, U.S. inland marine manager. Ms. Primerano previously was head of inland marine, North America, at AIG.

Tiffany Lewis was named vice president, marine, and Max Dambach was appointed underwriter. Ms. Lewis and Mr. Dambach are based in Houston.

Ms. Lewis previously was marine manager and Mr. Dambach previously was underwriter at AIG.

The inland marine offering will be part of QBE International Markets’ ocean marine and energy divisions in Houston led by Kristina Bush.
