QBE NA appoints Lauren Finnis as SVP of Distribution

QBE North America, part of the global insurer, has announced the appointment of Lauren Finnis as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Distribution.

Based in Chicago, Finnis will collaborate globally across the distribution function to advance QBE’s customer strategy, while working with teams across North America to strengthen distribution channels, support growth, drive service excellence, and enhance broker and customer data insights.

Julie Minor, Global Head of Distribution at QBE Insurance, commented, “Lauren brings a wealth of experience across the insurance value chain.”

She added, “Her deep expertise and passion for service excellence will be invaluable as we aim to elevate the customer experience and enhance trading relationships across our Specialty and Commercial businesses in North America.”

Finnis has over a decade of industry experience in distribution, underwriting, pricing, and claims across insurance carriers and brokerage firms. She has consistently used data and technology to enhance customer relationship management.

She joins QBE from WTW, where she served as Head of Commercial Lines in its insurance consulting and technology practice. Before that, she held senior roles at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) and Zurich.
