QBE promotes Virginie Massé to Head of European Claims

Australian insurer QBE has announced the promotion of Virginie Massé to Head of European Claims, effective 1st September 2025.

In her new role, Massé will remain based in Paris and report to Mike East, Claims Director at QBE European Operations (EO).

She brings 25 years of experience in claims and has spent the past two years at QBE serving as Claims Manager for France.

Prior to that, Massé served as Operations Director for the Fonds de Garantie, a French body that compensates victims of road traffic accidents and terrorism.

She also spent nearly a decade at AIG, most recently as Executive Claims Director.
