Rankiteo, a cybersecurity risk management company, aims to revolutionise the cyber insurance industry by introducing a more scientific, data-driven approach to underwriting, leveraging advanced actuarial science, AI-driven risk modelling, and statistical methodologies.
Rankiteo is a cybersecurity startup founded by former SwissRe/AXA cybersecurity expert Jeremy Canale in collaboration with Maochao Xu, Director of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Illinois State University, and key members of the Society of Actuaries.
As cyber threats evolve at an unprecedented pace, the demand for robust, data-driven cyber insurance solutions has never been more urgent.
Unlike traditional methods that rely on static questionnaires and outdated threat intelligence, Rankiteo’s dynamic model continuously adapts to emerging threats and provides ongoing risk scoring. This enables insurers to offer tailored, proactive coverage that mitigates financial losses for businesses while ensuring fair, accurate premium pricing.
Rankiteo’s approach incorporates cyber risk scoring, actuarial risk modelling, an automated underwriting framework with real-time cyber posture assessments, and an AI-powered cyber underwriter agent.
