RB Jones introducing excess auto for marine coverage

RB Jones, the specialty underwriting business unit of H.W. Kaufman Group Inc., Friday announced the launch of Ocean, an excess commercial auto liability program for marine assureds.

The coverage is designed to offer up to $1 million of stand-alone excess liability limits initially, with the flexibility to attach directly above primary commercial auto liability policies or higher depending on the individual risk, RB Jones said in a statement.

Coverage is targeted at marine assureds with vehicle exposures involved in marinas, contracting, shipyards, terminals, ferry/passenger vessel operations, commercial vessel operations and other marine services.

Ocean is exclusively backed by Atain Insurance Cos., rated “A” Excellent by AM Best and a member of H.W. Kaufman Group.
