Relation’s president, COO to retire

Relation Insurance Inc. said Friday that Ed Page, president and chief operating officer of the brokerage, has accelerated his full retirement for health reasons.

Mr. Page had planned to retire from the Walnut Creek, California-based brokerage at year-end but remain as a board member and strategic adviser.

“After a recent heart diagnosis, however, he has decided to completely step back from Relation,” the company said in a statement.

Mr. Page will remain “a significant shareholder” of the company, the statement said.

Relation will make a further announcement next week about the executive roles Mr. Page is leaving, a company spokeswoman said in an email.
