Relm launches MGA in US

Specialty insurer Relm Insurance Ltd. Wednesday announced the launch of its own managing general agent in the U.S.
The MGA is licensed in all 50 states and has offices in Miami, New York and Pennsylvania, Relm said in a statement.
Keith Lavigne will serve as head of underwriting-U.S. He is based in New York and reports to Relm CEO and founder Joseph Ziolkowski.
Mr. Lavigne was most recently chief underwriting officer for Euclid Fiduciary. He has also held roles at American International Group Inc, Chubb Ltd. and Everest Insurance Ltd., according to the statement.
Relm Insurance Ltd. is a Bermuda-domiciled specialty insurer that focuses on emerging industries.
