Resolution Life names former Swiss Re exec Moses Ojeisekhoba as President

Global life insurance group Resolution Life has appointed former Swiss Re executive Moses Ojeisekhoba as its new President, and he is also expected to take over from Sir Clive Cowdery as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company in 2026.

Ojeisekhoba worked at Swiss Re, one of the world’s largest reinsurers, for more than 12 years, most recently as CEO Global Clients & Solutions, having previously served as CEO of Reinsurance, and CEO Reinsurance Asia and Regional President Asia, at the firm.

It was announced back in May that he would be leaving Swiss Re at the end of August to pursue other opportunities, and today has been confirmed as the new President of Resolution Life from October 1st, 2024.

In his new role, Ojeisekhoba takes on responsibility for the leadership of the commercial, market-facing division of Resolution Life, and will be expected to drive the strategy, growth, profitability, and value creation of the business.

He has been appointed to deliver the next phase of the company’s growth plans, working closely with Cowdery, the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Resolution Life. When Ojeisekhoba assumes the CEO role in 2026, Cowdery will remain Executive Chairman of Resolution Life.

Prior to Swiss Re, Ojeisekhoba held numerous roles at Chubb, and Unico American Corporation. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL).
