Risk Strategies hires former Baldwin partner as managing director

Specialty insurance brokerage Risk Strategies Co., a division of Accession Risk Management Group Inc., announced Monday the appointment of former Baldwin Group partner Tom Panos as the managing director of its Chicago office.

Mr. Panos previously worked as a partner at Deerfield, Illinois-based insurance agency The Baldwin Group. He has 15 years’ experience in the industry and started as a producer for Rosenthal Brothers before it was purchased by The Baldwin Group in 2008, the Boston-based brokerage said in its announcement.

He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and earned his master’s degree in business administration from DePaul University.
