RiverStone Intl. hires James Insley as Deputy Group & UK CFO

RiverStone International, a provider of legacy solutions, has appointed industry veteran James Insley as its new Deputy Group & UK Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

In his new role, Insley will work closely with RiverStone International’s Group and International Finance teams, as well as the company’s Financial Planning and Strategy team, to drive financial objectives and strategies forward.

He joins the organisation from DARAG Group, where he most recently served as Group CFO.

Prior to DARAG Group, Insley spent just under three years at The Warranty Group, where he served as the company’s CFO for Europe.

Moreover, Insley also previously worked at Brit Insurance, where he spent nine years serving in a variety of different roles, gaining valuable experience across the industry,

He joined Brit in 2007, taking on the role of Head of Finance Operations, and then went on to become an Underwriting Finance Director in 2009. In 2011, he was then appointed to Head of Capital Management, and then went on to become Head of Group Financial Performance in 2013.

Before he joined Brit, Insley spent a short period at reinsurance giant Swiss Re, where he worked within finance integration and projects.
