Rokstone hires former AIG executive as head of marine

Rokstone Underwriting, the trading name of Rokstone Group Ltd., the Aventum Group’s international insurance and reinsurance managing general agent, Tuesday named former American International Group Inc. executive Mike Nukk as head of marine.

Mr. Nukk will be charged with growing the Marine portfolio in North America from a startup to $100 million in five years, focused on middle-market North American business, a Rokstone statement said.

He will be based in New York, the statement said.

Mr. Nukk was most recently head of marine for North America for American International Group Inc., the statement said. He joins Rokstone later this month after serving his notice with AIG.

Mr. Nukk’s appointment comes one week after Rokstone appointed Jordan Lanford, also previously at AIG, head of aviation.
