Ryan MGU introduces environmental excess liability program

Freberg Environmental Insurance, a managing general underwriting unit of Ryan Specialty, announced Thursday it launched an excess liability program expanding its current environmental liability coverage.

The cover can be written over existing Freberg programs or environmental programs written by other insurers.

Excess limits of up to $10 million are available nationwide in all 50 states. The program supports general liability, contractors pollution liability, professional liability, environmental impairment liability and products pollution liability.

Target risks include environmental contractors, consultants and engineers; remediation and cleanup specialists; solar and alternative energy contractors; waste management and recycling operations; environmental labs and regulatory consultants and facilities such as landfills, material recovery facilities and wastewater treatment plants.
